One of the young students who died in the tragic Uvalde shooting massacre in Texas had bled to death while waiting for police help to arrive.
According to local media reports, the grieving family was seen telling media outlets during the child’s funeral had no help arrived until after one hour since the shooting had taken place. And in that time, the child had bled to death, and there was no chance for their survival.
“My baby possibly died because of the huge delay that the first responders took in arriving at the scene of the crime”- mentioned the heartbroken parents.
During a recent interview with CNN on the State of the Union, Texas Senator Roland shed light on how the victim’s mother had explained to him how the child could have been allowed today if the authorities had arrived on time. Moreover, he appeared to blame the cops, adding how if the movement of the police officers had not been so slow that day, so many tragedies would have been averted.
The senator went into a list of harrowing details as to how the victim died after being shot through her back. The bullet is said to have pierced through her kidney, with a great amount of bleeding taking place.
She lay helpless, waiting for help but the cops arrived after more than an hour, the senator reiterated, while trying to hold back his tears.
The senator went on to mention how a minute can make a difference between life and death and in this case, if help had arrived, she would have survived.
The news comes as the Texas Police Chief is being questioned as to why his forces were ordered to stay outside despite the shooter being at large.
