Nancy Pelosi’s millionaire husband has been arrested.

According to reports, Paul Pelosi was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked on two counts for the incident which occurred before last night in Napa, California.

California Highway Patrol members arrested the 82-year-old at 11:44 pm, the Daily Mail reported.

The two charges are driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher and driving under the influence.

Mr. Pelosi is believed to have been released after $5,000 in bail has been posted.

His wife, Nancy, has not yet spoken about his arrest and did not mention it when she gave a commencement speech to graduating students at Brown University in Rhode Island.

California Highway Patrol has not issued any information about Mr. Pelosi’s arrest.

Drew Hamill, the spokesperson for the House speaker, said to USA TODAY: “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”

Some neighbors, who were not aware of the arrest, suggested that Mr. Pelosi might’ve been attending the Bottle Rocks festival.

“It probably tracks more with the younger Paul,” a neighbor said, referring to Paul Pelosi Jr.

Aside from their home in San Francisco, the couple also own a vineyard in Napa, according to previous statements given by Nancy’s representatives.

The property, which features a tennis court, sits on the banks of the Napa River.

Neighbors have told how the couple threw lavish parties for the executives of Silicon Valley in the past.

According to reports, Mr. Pelosi has gained millions through investments in tech companies.

Nancy previously faced backlash over her husband’s profiteering on tech shares when their security was still being debated by the House.
