Johnny Depp’s loyalists have flooded Amber Heard’s expert witnesses with negative Google reviews following their testimonies.
On Monday, psychiatrist Dr. David Spiegel took the stand in the Depp-Heard trial and testified that Johnny fits the profile of a perpetrator of domestic violence while taking a hit at the actor’s substance abuse and suggesting it was responsible for his memory loss.
Taking the stand was also Dr. Richard Moore who reviewed photos of Depp’s severed finger and suggested the type of the injury doesn’t match the actor’s recollection of the fight that took place between him and Heard in Australia in 2015.
Following their testimonies, the two doctors faced scrutiny on social media, with angry Depp fans flooding them with 1-star reviews on Google, the Washington Examiner reported.
According to the reports, Spiegel had just three reviews on Google before his testimony. Hours later, he racked up 414 reviews with an average rating of just 1.3 stars.
“What an arrogant, unprofessional, narcissistic person! Revoke his license! He is a danger to people with or without mental health issues, an abomination, if you will,” one person wrote.
“Just based on his attitude and the way he has carried himself for the defense and prosecution, he seems unstable. He actually makes me anxious in the way he speaks,” another said.
The third wrote: “It’s my honest opinion this man should be getting therapy himself not giving it.”
Meanwhile, Moore isn’t doing much better in the eyes of the public. Shortly after his testimony, his profile received a series of negative reviews bringing his average rating down to 3.7.
“I’m unaware of any other doctor who could correctly and confidentially diagnose how someone obtained an injury via a few pictures. Dr. Moore has risked his career on his opinion on said pictures and didn’t see the injury at hand,” someone said.
“Looks like he does great with his patients but watching the trial today he appears to be all willing to forgo that for the money… his testimony was not as bad as others but frankly off putting he would provide testimony on an event he didn’t see didn’t treat didn’t evaluate didn’t take in all evidence provided to make an educated medical opinion. He got paid a lot to agree to Amber Heard’s opinion,” another angry viewer wrote.
