One family is sharing their worries and woes about rising costs related to inflation and how it has taken a drastic toll on them all.

Stacey Sherwood who is a loving single mom of two has opened up so many people’s eyes in regards to the reality of living in today’s troubled times.

Think along the lines of feeling the need to stay at home and not stepping out because you can’t afford any luxuries. Similarly, she also revealed how she and her two kids have bid farewell to solo showers and are now forced to share baths because they need to conserve water.

“My family and I are making some terrible sacrifices but we’ve been left with no other decision”- explained the heartbroken mom of two.

While the concept of limiting showers and sharing baths might sound strange and beyond bizarre to some, Stacey says she has been left with no other choice than this.

The mother added how meeting basic necessities like food, water, and shelter is such a struggle that she couldn’t even begin to imagine what life would be like if she had to send her daughter out to a full-time nursery.

The single mom of two says she tried to her and her family’s needs by working at a window company in Leicester and while it might not be the best job in the world for her, it’s definitely in another league altogether.

When she’s out for her, this hardworking but determined mom says she relies upon her own parents instead of daycare, at least twice a week because it’s the safest and most convenient way to go about the situation.

After paying for groceries and food, she’s barely left with any cash and that’s why in the end, this family is struggling but continues to try and make it past each day with a huge smile on their faces.
