Prince Andrew has reportedly demanded a trial by jury over his assault accusations by Virginia Giuffre.
According to inside reports, the Prince has opted for a decision that is on the path of collision with the Royal Palace after he boldly demanded a trial by jury.
All the court documents that were gathered from New York have shown the royal family member denying all the allegations that were put up against him.
Therefore, insiders have revealed how he ‘herby demands a trial by jury on all causes of action that have been asserted upon him in the complaint.’
This is reportedly the first time ever that the 62-year-old Prince, who was recently stripped of all of his military and royal titles by the Queen, is publicly vowing that he will fight the case in the court of law.
Moreover, sources have also confirmed how Andrew will be facing the US-based lawsuit as a normal private citizen and that means he cannot make use of ‘his royal highness’ title and also will not be able to hide behind his royal privileges too.
Meanwhile, despite Prince Andrew’s major split with the firm, it is being discussed how the Prince’s decision to face a jury in the trial will actually mean that he will be left with no other choice but to butt his head with the Royal Palace regarding the startling decision.
One inside source spoke to Mail Online recently, where he mentioned how Andrew is on a collision course with the Royal Palace over this entire episode.
At the moment, Prince Andrew is busy preparing his witness statement that will reportedly be about seven hours long in duration to his lawyers, which he will be sending out via a video call.
“The Duke of York is telling Virginia that he will see her in court and this is certainly not a sprint but a real marathon,” mentioned one Royal Insider.
