A family is sharing their immense heartbreak surrounding the death of a 17-year-old teenage girl who passed away after giving birth.

The family stated that 17-year-old Teegan Barnard tragically died after two hours of giving birth to a healthy and beautiful baby boy named Parker. 

The mother was admitted at West Sussex’s St. Richard’s hospital in Chichester but little did anyone know about the tragedy that she was soon in-store for. 

“Our lives have changed forever,” her grieving parents added as medical experts revealed her cause of death to be unsurvivable brain injuries after her delivery. 

The 17-year-old reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest after delivering young Parker and right after that, her condition resulted in major brain injuries since she was starved of oxygen. 

Two years down the road, her parents recall how they have a leading number of concerns regarding the sudden array of events that took place before her unexpected death. 

Now, her devasted and beyond heartbroken family wishes to know why a day that was supposed to be her happiest turned to be an absolute nightmare, ending with her untimely death. 

Meanwhile, a recent post was shared by loved ones where the teen can be seen for the last time as she cradles her tiny newborn child. The image comes with the caption, “She would have made a fantastic mother.”

Teegan’s suffered a heart attack after the birth of her child and less than a few moments later, she passed away after being discharged and sent home. 

Now, the family has opted to take on board a professional legal team that will reportedly take on claims relating to potential medical negligence as a potential cause of her death.
