A Thai model is claiming to be so grateful to be alive today after suffering the most horrifying attack on a subway in Manhattan.
According to local media outlets, 23-year-old Bew Jirajariyawatch was assaulted in the most nightmarish manner imaginable as she reportedly took her 4 am subway ride back home.
The model claims she was violently attacked as she waited for her subway that was on the 34th Street Herald Square platform in the last week of November.
She explained to Daily Mail how she happened to be returning back to her residence in Queens when all of a sudden, she went to visit one Thai-American rapper who was performing live.
Meanwhile, the model’s attorney says his client suffered from the most brutal bashing by a mugger which included a chokehold, punches in the face, and robbing as well.
Sharing her tragic experience with Daily Mail recently, the model claims that the 4 attacks were never something she had imagined in her wildest dreams.
“I was grabbed from the back in a chokehold manner and then slammed to the ground. After that, he punched me in the face and then robbed me of all the cash that was inside my bag,” she cried.
The shockingly violent attack was reportedly caught on film, as the out-of-control crime rate continues to soar in the city.
While police are yet to identify or catch the suspected mugger, disheartening images of the model’s badly injured and bruised face have surfaced, with many citizens demanding answers into the crime that occurred.
New York City has reportedly witnessed some of the most horrifying crimes on the subway with reports stating a staggering 45% increase since the past 28 days.
In the same way, many have also raised their voice on the increasing anti-Asian violence that has also plunged the city into a new low.
