A man termed to be an ISIS fanatic collapsed in the courtroom in Germany, right after he was sentenced for genocide.
29-year-old Taha Al-Jumailly was sentenced to life in jail after being found guilty of crimes against humanity, including how he forced a young slave girl to die of thirst in front of his own eyes.
After hearing the verdict, the suspect collapsed in the courtroom in Frankfurt, Germany.
He was also found guilty of chaining up the 5-year-old girl, alongside a number of other inhuman crimes as well as aiding and abetting crimes related to the war on terror with incidents involving bodily harm with fatal results.
Just last month, a separate trial was conducted in which his ex-wife, Jennifer Wenisch, was termed guilty for allowing a slave girl to die of thirst.
Covering his face with a giant folder at Frankfurt’s court, the man passed out after being declared as the first individual in the world to have been convicted for the horrifying crimes of genocide that go against minorities.
The suspect who originally hails from Iraq was first arrested in Greece and was then extradited two years back to Germany.
Both Al-Jumailly and his ex-wife bought a 5-year-old Iraqi slave girl and her mother that belonged to the Yazidi tribe while they lived in Mosul in 2015.
After moving to Fallujah, the suspect chained the slave girl to a window outdoors, where scorching temperatures went on to reach nearly 122 degrees Fahrenheit. He felt that was the right punishment she deserved for wetting a mattress, and which ultimately resulted in her dying of thirst in the end.
Last month, he received a massive 10-year jail sentence for the crime as the girl’s mother testified in both trials, but for today’s verdict, she did not make an appearance in the courtroom, stated reports.
