It was a tragedy at its peak when news reports coming in from Texas revealed how an 8-month-old baby girl passed away after falling out of a moving vehicle.
Local media outlets claim that the young girl was killed after she fell out of her backseat that was located in her mother’s vehicle. The baby slammed onto the road and then was run over by another driver’s moving vehicle.
Police investigating the incident explained how the little infant with her three older brothers and sisters were not restrained before the horrifying incident that unfolded on Monday at 10:30 am. They also identified the exact location of the crime as North MacArthur Drive which is present in Irving in Texas.
Cops from the Irving Police Department have gone on to confirm the identity of the young baby as Kassidy Smith while speaking at a recent conference which was held on Monday during the afternoon hours.
And that is where they revealed how the mom, who is yet to be named, isn’t currently facing any charges but that could potentially change later on, as confirmed by investigators who are still trying to collect details and understand what really went on that morning.
In the same way, the police spoke about how they are currently in search of the driver of a black-toned Sedan vehicle that struck the young child, right after her seat fell outside her mom’s moving vehicle.
In addition to that, they revealed how they strongly believed that the driver was not aware that they slammed into a person while driving. For this reason, they do not expect to file any charges against the driver of that vehicle.
The fact that there were two car seats in the vehicle and yet all the kids were unrestrained has really opened the eyes of the investigators in regards to how reckless a parent can be with so many young kids on board.
