Lourdes Leon, the eldest daughter of the famous Hollywood star Madonna, has revealed that her mother has controlled her throughout her life and now she is willing to be independent.
In an interview, Lourdes, who has been working as a model, proclaimed that she is paying for her college tuition and New York apartment instead of getting money from her mother, who owns a multimillion-dollar estate.
Her mother is quite strict regarding parenting, and rules and regulations are pretty tight for children in her household.
Elaborating about her modeling career, Lourdes Leon exclaimed that she enjoys the campaigns she does as she has a specific sense of style and is also interested in aesthetics. She adds her personality to her projects, and every campaign reflects her unique taste of dressing.
Telling about her singing abilities, Leon said that she is not interested in the music industry, although she can sing well. When it comes to acting, her stamina is not up to the mark required in acting, so she prefers modeling over acting and singing.
Except for the strict parenting rules and regulations, her mother is an amazingly hardworking woman who has an excellent work ethic; her dedication to her work is remarkable. Lourdes is not happy as this hardworking trait of her mother is not inherited to her, but she shares the same controls issues with Madonna.
Lourdes’s father, Carlos Leon, is Madonna’s ex-boyfriend, who she dated between 1994 and 1997.
Except for Lourdes, Madonna has a 21-year-old son Rocco Ritchie, a 16-year-old son David Banda, a 15-year-old Mercy James, and 9-year-old twins Estere and Stelle. The last four children are adopted while Lourdes and Rocco are Madonna’s actual children.
