Texan Representative Chip Roy recently made headlines after he called for the impeachment of both President Biden as well as Homeland Secretary Mayorkas.

The rep claims that the President, as well as his administration, must be held accountable for everything going on the country’s southern border where authorities claim the situation has turned into an absolute disaster.

According to local media reports, both the Customs and Border Patrol mentioned how they have encountered a whopping figure of more than one million migrants during this fiscal year with outgrowing fears of numbers rising.

For this reason, the Texan rep feels it is high time that the President is held accountable for his lack of governance and seriousness over the situation. “Both the President and the Homeland Security Secretary have failed at their constitutional duties,” he went on to rant boldly.

In the same way, Roy spoke about how there was no check and balance being maintained for the figures relating to illegal immigrants entering the nation over the past six months and that was worrying.

“They have simply failed at taking care and making sure that their immigration laws are being faithfully executed,” he added. Hence, he felt that this was simply an act of negligence on their part and would cost the nation in the long run.

“They are endangering countless American as well as foreign lives along the whole process,” he explained.

Right after famous radio host, Jesse Kelly termed the border situation as highly alarming and more impeachable than Watergate, the Rep was quick to retweet that message with hashtags comprising of ‘impeach Biden’ and ‘impeach Mayorkas’ following along with his post.

Roy also mentioned how the Southern border was currently in total chaos and if an action wouldn’t be taken soon, the matter could well be out of our hands, he concluded.
