Prince Harry may have been cheered and applauded by the crowd for his relentless efforts towards the Global Vaccine Drive, but some fans felt upset for the Duchess’s absence.
On Monday, Prince Harry receives some major praise as well as a standing ovation from the crowds for appearing and promoting the Global Citizen’s Vax Live: The Concert For Reuniting The World. However, fans appeared angry that his wife and Duchess Meghan didn’t even both show her face at the event that she and her husband promoted enthusiastically.
According to media reports, Meghan Markle did not accompany Harry at the live concert. Shockingly, the major event was held without people wearing masks. Moreover, the event’s ultimate purpose revolved around promoting individuals to obtain their COVID-19 vaccine shots.
Only recently, news broke out about how the Duke and Duchess were both campaign chairs with the likes of the president of the US, Joe Biden, and the first lady herself, Dr. Jill Biden. The list included other famous names such as Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga too, who were present in attendance.
However, the Duchess opted to stay back at home with many speculating the reason relating to her heavy pregnancy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their second child, a baby girl, during the summer. The news was revealed during their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey through CBS.
But that just wasn’t enough to convince plenty of her fans who didn’t quite understand why she didn’t appear for a short while in attendance. Moreover, some were quite frustrated that she left her husband standing alone on stage and didn’t appear right next to him.
Twitter went ablaze with comments and debates occuring about the Duchess missing in action. One wrote, ‘We have been lead astray, hoodwinked, and flat out deceived.
