According to reports, Amanda took to social media to explain her side of the story. Unbelievingly, her thoughts and opinions were something that not too many people were anticipating.

The zookeeper’s side of the story revolves around one simple principle. And that includes protecting his entire group. And while you might term them as ‘gentle giants,’ there’s truly more to this story.

While gorillas aren’t as violent as chimpanzees, they aren’t too soft either. And that’s especially true when you’ve got a giant male that weighs over 400 pounds. To put it simply, these gorillas are as strong as 10 adult human males combined.

So how exactly do silverback gorillas protect themselves and others in their surrounding? Well, the answer is simple. They bluff up and make the effort to intimidate anyone that’s threatening for them. And in the case of Harambe’s death, there was no exception.
