FC Seoul played against Gwangju, late Sunday night. Soon, fans and followers received a major surprise. Alarming images were circulated, showing ‘premium mannequins,’ covered in face masks.
All the presumed sex dolls were scattered over each of the empty stands, situated in the city’s famous Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Meanwhile, fans were surprised by the mere fact that all sex dolls wore matching supportive merchandise. And don’t be mistaken as they weren’t only supporting their team.
The artificial supporters were donning logo SoloS t-shirts, sending shockwaves around the world. And just in case you weren’t aware, SoloS is a famous sex toy seller. Moreover, that’s the main reason why the incident gained further worldwide attention.
After all the commotion surrounding the rather bizarre ordeal, the Seoul based football club looked for means to set the record straight.
FC Seoul insists mannequins used have no connection to ‘sex toys’
Despite suffering public humiliation, FC Seoul was adamant about clearing its stance, regarding the sex doll ordeal. Moreover, they claimed it had ‘zero connection to sex toys.’
Fans couldn’t enter stadiums or attend sports events due to the recent pandemic.
The football club went on further to claim that the company who provided the professional mannequins, had previously created them for SoloS. Hence, that was the justification for the t-shirt advertising observed.
Humiliated football club issues apology amidst uproar from fans
The famous Seoul based football club issued a public statement, after receiving backlash from fans all around.
It said:
‘We are sincerely sorry for causing deep concern to fans. We have confirmed from the very beginning that they had no connection to any sex toys.’
‘Regardless of that, we would like to apologize once again to everyone who loves and supports FC Seoul. We will be holding further discussions on how we can review potential problems in similar matters. We will put forth our due diligence to prevent such issues in the future.’

Overall, the mannequins looked very real from a distance. It appeared as if real supporters were sitting in the audience.
While most of the mannequins were female, some males could also be seen. Above all, the mannequins donned facemasks, while sitting separated from one another. Reports claim that the apparent ‘sex dolls’ were also exercising social distancing protocols. Likewise, the mannequins were holding placards that advertised their company.
Sex dolls or not, one thing is for sure. The football club faced great humiliation, while disappointing fans and well-wishers from around the globe.
